A newly minted Gotham lawyer tipped me off to this kid. This is one of those “less than 100 likes” new to the game situations. The production choices are memorable, vintage & well selected, with the rhyming that smacks of competence. This is someone who has done his homework and knows the mark they’re trying to hit. The new wave led by Chance the Rapper, Childish Gambino & dope lyricists that aren’t beholden to the world of glam or gangsta is giving us some great new sounds. This is one of them.
