“Books are no more threatened by Kindle than stairs by elevators.” ~Stephen Fry

As a long time viewer of vinyl vs. digital arguments, this quote resonated more than most about books. The medium doesn’t matter, it’s about the quality of the art contained within, and it always will be. Whether it’s words or beats, do what you love and it’ll shine through however it’s consumed by your adoring public.

  1. What I was trying to say before I accidentally hit something was that physical books are threatened by e-readers, but books aren’t books by virtue of what they’re made of but by what you said so well, the art within. Books are made of words, not paper. There was a time that books were cave paintings and after that stone tablets. The medium may change, but it is words that make a book.
